I am a Juilliard grad and music school owner myself but specialize in private instruction only. I send everyone to Hug Music and the kids that return to us afterwards have loved it! Even one of my faculty had her daughter attending until they moved. Have heard nothing but great things.
— NATALIA L. AN OWNER OF MUSIC SCHOOL OF NYC
My son Andrew and I started attending mommy and me music classes at Hug Music in the Fall of 2017. As a new mother I was scared to bring my 15 month old son to class thinking he wouldn’t be able to sit still and pay attention. However being an elementary school music teacher myself, I knew it was very important for his social and emotional development. I wanted my son’s first experiences with music and education to be extremely positive. Sasha and Kana immediately provided a very nurturing and positive environment for learning. Their lessons were very engaging and extremely enjoyable. Kana and Sasha treat their students like their extended family. My son loves them very much and wants to listen to their cds at home all the time. My son is now 2 and a half and says he wants to take guitar lessons so he can play like Sasha. We had gone to several other mommy and me trial classes in the area but nothing compared to the quality curriculum and high standards set by the teachers of Hug Music. I would highly recommend this program to any parent looking to instill a love of music in their child.

Ms.Kana’s innovative approach, Musicreative™, is highly significant in the field of music therapy, music education, and special education and the outcomes of the clients with autism have far exceeded the outcomes typically attained by clients on the spectrum
