Guidelines for choosing the best class for your child

If your child is between 6 months and 4 years old, our signature group classes, Hug Me and Hug Melody™ are the best fit. If your child is between 3.5 to 6 years old and has never taken any music lessons, Hug Melody DUO class is the best way to start music learning while nurturing the love of music. For students 5 to 7 years old, Hug Melody Solo class serves as a nice way to introduce music learning while helping them establish a practice routine.

For students older than 8 years old, they are ready to start with piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, and /or songwriting. For new students, we offer a 5-week package (private class only). Our 5-week package is a great way to get to know the teacher, learn fundamental skills, and start building a practice routine.

For children with special needs, Hug Music offers music therapy programs both in group and private settings. For private session, we offer a 5-week evaluation package to new students. For group, we offer Social Skills Music Therapy groupsto children 3-8 years old.
